I do not actively promote myself as a consultant because I keep pretty busy with writing and doing professor stuff. Having said this, I am usually open to working on an interesting project if you think that I have something to offer. As an experimental psychologist with two centuries of experience, I have accumulated an eclectic mix of expertise and research skills that are applicable whenever some aspect of human nature or human behavior is the topic of interest.  Feel free to contact me and we can explore possibilities.

You may also connect with me through the Canvas8 platform.

My interests are flexible. I have done everything from designing interactive exhibits for a zoo to analyzing medical studies for a law firm and serving as a "fear consultant" to filmmakers who were shooting a horror movie. I have even worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida Department of Community Affairs on the causes and consequences of population growth in the Florida Keys.

I once conducted a three-day workshop to assist with the founding of an interdisciplinary graduate program in Family Studies at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, and I have also facilitated a two-day workshop on "Alpha Males" and the violence of young men at the C. G. Jung Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Until recently, I was involved with "KNIT - Your Virtual Meeting Place," a social networking start-up headquartered in Warsaw (Poland) that had a brief but glorious run during the pandemic.

I am currently on the advisory board of a European Research Council (ERC) project on workplace gossip based in the Department of Organization Sciences at Vrije University (VU) in Amsterdam. Other organizations that I have worked with in the not-too-distant past include 7th SENSELooking Up Productions, the School of Architecture at Aarhus University in Denmark, & The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
